NARRATIVE
faint whitish light heading from SE to NW that flared up bright white for a second then blacked out. Have seen this object..satellite or? at least 5 or 6 times now in the last two years. Always silent, approximately at 30,000 feet elevation. Always flares up for a second then blacks out. Flight path is predominately from SE to NW although it does vary occasionally. We suspect that the witness observed the "flare" (reflection) from an Iridium satellite. PD
