While enjoying a cigarette and gazing out my window I became witness to countless hovering and flashing lights seemingly hovering for lengthy periods of time. I assumed these to be stars, Naturally.  
Until they started moving in a unexplainable fashion and flashing irregarly with white and occasionally red lights.   
There was a constant background flashing of what seemed to be hundreds of these objects. I stood for hours intrigued and honestly horrified.   
  
I'm not posting this to add any gasoline to an already contentious and awkward subject.  
I am just desperate for an explanation.
