Time: Started around 22:30 ended around 23:20

Location: Edmonton, AB. Canada.

Conditions: Clear sky, -1C (30F). Wind Southeast 13km/h\~

Flight path: East to West-Northwest

Description

I'll cut straight to the chase. Around 22:30 I was sitting around in my living room looking at the city as I normally do, when around 22:30 I spotted what I believed to be 2 helis/planes both showed similar light configurations one red on top and green at the bottom, both were audible within my apt. One flying Northbound, vanished/turned its lights off, second flying Southwest, this is where I started to record. This is where it gets interesting. I continue to sat there, around 2250 I spotted a light "pop up" northeast of my location, about 2 seconds after it popped up I realized it was nothing like any plane or heli I've seen in the 2 years I've been doing this almost daily. I started to record. It flew East to West/Northwest before going up and vanishing. Not 2 min passed by, around 2253, another light popped up near the same area, I started to record again about 2-3 seconds after it popped up, as I was not expecting to see it again. This is the most fascinating one. Yet again, not 1 min, around 2255 went by when a third light popped up near the same area, I started to record after another 2 seconds passed as I was caught off guard yet again. I continued to record and verbally record/try to make sense of what I was seeing. A min passed by and around 2256 the fourth light showed up, same area, this time caught in video. Around 2304, a "craft" turned on its lights and I started to record. Unfortunately, I paid no attention to sound. Around 2310 I heard the "craft" circle back, this time heading North. I started to record, again, for reference for you guys. And lastly, immediately as I turned my cam off, I thought of recording the "chopper" with zoom as it was flying away, to show how the light looked like moving while zoomed in, as in vid ***20250112\_225117*** you could see a bit of a "trail" in the white light. To my surprise, the "chopper" vanished, sound and everything. I sat there for about 45 min after the last video before moving to my pc and starting to make this post.
