Orb Sighting in Michigan on January 9: A Reward for Writing About Disclosure?

On January 9, at exactly 7:17 PM, my daughter and I had an unexpected encounter of the glowing kind. Earlier that day, we’d been talking about orb sightings. She asked if any had been spotted in Michigan, and I confidently said, “I don’t think so.” Turns out, I might owe her an apology.

That evening, during a quick trip to the gas station, I noticed how unusually bright the sky was. At first, I assumed the moon was the culprit, but while the moon was out, it wasn’t what lit up the sky. Hovering above us was a massive, bright, white orb.

I told my daughter, “We have to film this—it looks like the orbs people report, and who knows, maybe it’ll do something interesting.” We started recording in the parking lot and continued from our driveway when we got home. Nearly 18 minutes of footage later, we thought we’d seen nothing unusual beyond the orb just hanging there, seemingly motionless.

But then I reviewed the footage, and that’s when things got interesting.

At one point, something briefly lights up underneath the orb. It looks like an object coming out of it. Moments later, what I *swear* is the same object shows up on the right side of the screen, moving at an incredible speed before zipping off into the sky. And that’s not all—later, it appears again, flying above the clouds and a passing plane in what I can only describe as stealth mode. Maybe it’s two separate objects, but my gut says it’s one, pulling off moves that defy explanation.

Here’s the kicker: I published a book about alien disclosure (*'Twas the Eve of Disclosure*) on 12/31/24. Nine days later, I’m rewarded with this footage. Coincidence? Maybe. Or maybe the universe has a sense of humor—or impeccable timing. Or, you know, maybe it’s just teens with drones pulling off some high-tech tricks.
