In 1974 I lived in El Paso, I was unemployed, I heard about a tire recaping company I desided pay them a visit, and I ask the manager if they were hiring, and he said they needed a driver,to drive a tracktor and trailer loaded with gravel for the extra weight,the trailer had new recaped tires for testing, on a long hual over the freeway, I was given the job, they gave me some keys and a map, my trip consisted of driving to van horn tx, to marfa tx and to drive thru the pecos mauntains, exciding speed on cuves by 15 mile over the speed limits, by the way the companys name was "three T fleet tire testing co" I was told that in out skirts of marfa tx, I was to stop at an abanded air field, when I found the field I had to open a large gate and drive in to one of the taxiway and there was a fuel tank, I was to refuel and continue the charted rout, I unlocked the fuel tank containg the diesel, I put the nozel into the trucks tank and I went to the front of the truck and leened on the bumper and I looked up at the stars it was a very clear night, when all at onece I heard a high peeched vivration, the to my suprice a large oval shaped type of vehicle came up out of the ground at the end side of the taxiway no more the 100 feet from where I was standing, crart like vehicle it stoped rising and it hoverd above the ground maybe 10 feet, then to the left side of it another same shape vehicle came out of the ground and hoverd above the ground, they both glowed in a pale yellow light but no light bulbs were showing, they were the size of a small house, then thevivration got lauder and all at once the one on my right took off at right angle at a speed beon my imagination, the maybe 3 secounds later the one on my left took off at the same right angle but up untill it reached the first craft, I looked at them untill my eyes could no longer see them they flu into out of space, i then walked the the side of the runway to see if there were holes in the ground and there was no evedence that they came out of the ground, but then I dont remember geting back into the truck or driving out of that place, then sudenly I found myself driving back to El Paso, I was confused and I stoped on to the shoulder of the road, could not remember how and why I was driving back to El Paso, I got back into the truck and drove back to three t fleet, and I explained what I saw and they said I was crazy, went home and talked to my wife, and she belived me, for all thise years I've keaped to my self but its time I tell someone, and this I swear before our heavenly father to a true story, I'll never forget all the details.

Summary : from my bed room window we saw what we thout was a car on the hill top just up the street window was open we made some joke's about bet there kid's smoking out or making out . when the head lights we where looking at went up in the air some 150 feet when the light hit the low a low cloud they shut off then the thing started towerd my house we looked out the window and wached it go over my house .

It was about 1AM-2AM in the morning, while watching TV, a bright object though our window caught my eye. The window was on the north side of the house. It was decending at approximately 45 degrees angle east to west, it was huge and around the circumference was seeming low flames with a fiery trail. It reminded me of the huge special effects of the meteor that carried the space craft in the original "War of the Worlds" movie. It was eerie looking, I was so excited I shouted for my wife to come a see. By the time she awoke and got to the window it passed from sight. I called the Ft. Lauderdale International Airport Control Tower and asked if they saw the object. The person that answered said "No". I the called Channel 7 news room and a guy answered, I told him what I saw, he replied that he had not heard of anything. I asked him if he did would he call me back and I gave him my telephone number. I thought he was just humoring me when he said he would, but when the phone rang about 15 minutes later it was this fellow at the TV station telling me that the report was coming over the AP wire and that the object had been spotted as far north as Gainsville. He asked me to descibe what I saw again, I did, he thanked me and we hung up. I could hardly sleep and stayed up most of the night. The next day I was impatiently waiting for the news reports to come out about the sighting, but I personally never heard anything about it. Someone said something about a falling satelite or some other nonsense. That vision will never leave me. This evening I discovered your Reporting center and curiosity drove me to find the report which had to be one in the sighting. I was stunned to finally see a report by someone else that seemingly corroborates what I saw. That report was posted 6/2/98 and the location was Hamton, Virginia Beach Amusment Park, VA. The report by a photgrapher. I've waited 28 years to tell this, boy it feels good! Thanks.

Round meteor with flame and trail, decending as if it were a controlled decent. The color was Orange/red and bright. It did not move like a falling star or a burning up satellite or a meteor burnin

At 2230, my father and I saw a black triangular shaped object in the sky with three lights, one being green, the other two were red. It was a clear night; this object blocked out the stars where we were in the country around New Albany, Indiana by Highway 111. The lights were not bright and the object moved slowly without sound. The only movement we noted was the sway of the trees a thousand feet above us on the bluff. This object travelled west across the Ohio River and proceeded towards Ft. Knox, KY. I myself observed the object for one and one half hours, even using my binoculars. Note my father was a loadmaster in the airforce at the local base at that time, and commented to me, "Oh, they've had that thing for years and years."

this craft has been seen by many other people as well but i do not know what happen to them . i have seen many ufos high in the sky eraly day light hours as well as nite time. I saw the one in 1976

I was amazed when I came to this site and looked up the date that I saw my strange encounter. Some one posted on the same date that they saw what I had seen, and that was a bright light as bright as venus screaming across the sky. First though meteor then bamm the thing stopped and where it stopped was next to two other lights of same brightness when all three where in a triangle formation they all turned due north at a 45 degree angle. That's when my friend and I freaked out. Being 18 and dumb still didn't explain the speed of travel and then stopping and then turning 45 degrees and going out of site. The 0ther similar story I read from gentlemen was from chicago which is north of us here in Ottawa. Best way to explain is a meteor that stopped. I still remember it like yesterday and it happened in 74".

taking a picture of night blooming cereus cactus at 9pm. craft came from north over ranche style house. lots were one quarter acre. hovered over my head approximately 300 ft in air. Had pool in backyard on lights were on. caft was silouetted against the night sky. Full moon to boot. The craft had soft smooth edges. A central disc in the middle of the craft and a disc at each angle. I found myself looking up at the object, then back looking at the cereus cactus. I looked up again and the craft started slowly taking off. It was now 2300. I ran into the house and asked a friend to come out. He witnessed the craft leaving the area.Craft was totally dark, no sounds were made by the craft
