Flashing lights of mulitiple colors in sky. Not moving and flashes not consistant

NARRATIVE

Something in the sky above Windsor, Nova Scotia, and it don't appear to be moving, but is flashing green red yellow lights.  It isn't a consistent flashing pattern.
We suspect a sighting of a "twinkling" star, perhaps Sirius.  PD
