I was sitting in a chair and noticed a small white dot that was stationary very high in the sky over Pyramid Lake. It seems to move like a balloon but not any great distance, just sways around as if a balloon was tied to post. I pulled out my binoculars to see if I could get a better look.

It still was too far away to identify, but definitely looks like a white balloon or 2 white balloons together. I've been watching for about an hour and it has not moved.  I did see what looked like a white bird circling the area as if checking it out.  Probably a stork or seagull.  No sounds, lights, or color change.
We suspect that the object may have been a high-altitude, helium-filled balloon.  We have posted several other similar reports, since July 11, 2018.  PD
