My grandmother woke me up to go to the front house get my uncle to check on the bright blueish light out behind our cottage. I was scared to get wake my uncle so I WENT OUT BACK. I looked up and there was a large disk object hoovering over head with multi colored lights on it. The next thing I know I am being woke up to explain how my aunts vegetable and flower garden are totally distroyed. Completely to dried to ash like conditrion. My grandmother tried to tell them it was something in the sky but they would not listen and called my mother to come get me, I could not stay the rest of the summer. I complained about being sick and having severe cramps but they said I was facking it so as to get to stay. When my mother got there to get me she was real mad at my grandmother for defendind me and mad because I was sun burn and blistered and my head was bleeding from a small hole or puncture. She claimed I must have gotten hit with a nail or something. I was 8, 9, or 10 years old because it was the summer my grandmothers brother died. It was on 8th street across from the golf course. I went back to see if I would remember the house in the late sixties early seventies and the house had not been changed. I did not ask to go in back or to see if the garden area to see if the ground was still dead. A short time after my expierence my uncle told me about Mr. Arnold and his UFO sighting. My uncle was a pilot and owner of a single engine piper cub. He took me flying once and I was thrilled.

The object followed us (our car) over 40 miles and then stayed 100 feet off the ground for about 10 minutes. It then went straight up for 200 feet and then went horizontal at a very high speed and then disapeared. It made no sound and althought it had a blue glow it did not have beam illumanting the ground. We no longer live in that area but can take someone to the site.

In July 1947, my Dad and I were working in our corn field in Clintwood, Virginia (Dickerson County). Around 3 PM, we looked up up see a cylinder shaped UFO crossing a clear blue sky at a high rate of speed. The altitude was unknown but, it was close enough to get a very clear view of the object with a long trail of orange fire immediately behind it.

The object was traveling from northeast to southwest. I can not remember any noise coming from the object. My back ground, I was a Antenna And Cable Specialist in the U S Airforce from 1956-1960.

THIS SIGHTING TOOK PLACE WHEN I WAS A CHILD. I WAS 9 1/2 yrs. old. IT was the summer vaccation for the school children .WE had been out of school for about 3 or 4 weeks. School was always out by JUNE 15 th. That would make the date about middle of JULY... I was "OUTSIDE " kid. NO one could keepme inside, no matter how they tried. I was out there "BUILDING " TREE HOUSES, or whatever I cold get wood & nails to build. THIS DAY WAS most likely the week-end, because my MOM had sent me to the STORE. I was on my way up the block, (WE lived in the MILITARY PROJECT.) When I noticed I Was Walking IN THE SHADE" & IT was a very hot day, for the BAY AREA. I LOOKED, EXPECTING TO SEE RAIN CLOUDS, BUT NO CLOUDS. THIS PUZZLED me. I STARED STRAIGHT UP IN THE AIR. FINALLY, I FOCUSED MY EYES ON "SOMETHING , that was WAY - WAY - UP THERE. IF I had to guess, I would say , at least 15,000 ft. (now that I have flown , many times in a small airplane.)I could not believe what I was seeing. Confused , I ran down the street, yelling, "WHAT IS THAT ? WHAT IS THAT ?" NO one seemed to listen to me ?? I couldnt figure out WHY ?LATER when I thought about It , I would QUICKLEY , CONVINCE MYSELF THAT NO ONE WOULD BELIEVE ME.WHAT I SAW, WAS almost the SAME THING THAT THE MOVIE " INDEPENDENCE DAY " had in it.UNBELIEVABLE, ISNT IT . I ALMOT FAINTED , WHEN I SAW THAT MOVIE, BROUGHT BACK BAD MEMORIES. SEE ,THAT IS WHY I KNEW NO ONE WOULD BELIEVE ME WHEN I WAS A CHILD . YOU MOST LIKELY DONT BELIEVE ME , AS AN ADULT....IT wasPEUTER" in color. HUGE, HUGE < HUGE >THE clouds were rolling very fast & the edges would show here, & there ,until I had a comlete picture of the COMPLETE SIZE " I ALWAYS THOUGHT I WAS NOT SUPOSED TO TALK ABOUT IT , SO I DIDNT .. I COULDNT SEE ANY "DETAIL" ON IT . IT had to be several "MILES" ACROSS .IT COVER THE WHOLE SKY. OVER RICHMOND..

WHILE LOOKING OUT THE SECOND STORY WINDOW OF HIAWATHA COTTAGE AT ELMCREST CHILDREN'S CENTER I SAW A BIG (200 FT.?) CIGAR SHAPED CRAFT OF BURNISHED METAL ABOVE THE LAST ROW OF TREES OF THE ORCHARD BEHIND THE COTTAGES. THE ORCHARD ENDED ABOUT 100 YARDS FROM THE COTTAGE. I HAD LEFT THE FIRST BASE OF THE SANDLOT GAME TO GO UP AND BRUSH MY TEETH. I WAS 13 YEARS OF AGE. I WOULDN'T ORDINARILY LEAVE A BALL GAME TO BRUSH MY TEETH UNLESS FORCED BUT I WAS NOT FORCED OR SUGGESTED TO GO BY ANYONE THERE.

THERE WERE NO LIGHTS OR WINDOWS OR OTHER MARKINGS. NO FINS OR CONTROL SURFACES. IT JUST HUNG SUSPENDE SILENTLY ABOVE THE TREES. I LATER SURMISED THAT THE OCCUPANTS MUST HAVE BEEN INTERESTED IN THE GI
