I was getting ready to hop in bed. The North wall in my bedroom was almost all windows and I had a nice view of the canyon wall opposite the one our house was built on. I saw two diamond shaped craft slowly descending vertically, disappearing behind the hill on the other side of the canyon. As they descended they pulsated slowly in unison back and fourth from a bright red to orange in color. As they became bright red, the sky around them glowed giving them an aura. I could clearly see their shape and could tell they were not anything like a plane or helicopter. It looked to me like they were landing and I had an urge to go and investigate, but fear and the fact that it would have been a several hour hike to get to where they were kept me from doing so. I stayed awake for most the night waiting for them to take off and never saw them again.

The year & month is estimated above, but the exact date will coincide with sightings of lights all over the midwest.Radio reports the next day were calling the unknown lights in the sky everything from snow geese to northern lights. It should be easy to nail down this date from old records somwhere. The lights in the sky were reported from South Dakota to Kansas, and from Colorado to Iowa. It seemed to me the next day from the radio reports that we were in the center of things, and that what ever direction you went from our point of view most descriptions varied, but none were what we had seen or experienced.

My story: I and a friend had been riding our motorcycles that evening and had returned to my home, a double wide along the Platte River between Columbus and Duncan Ne., shortly before midnight. I had

three of us were standing outside our lodge after meeting and a sound like a very large dynamo slowing down was heard. The three of us looked in the direction of the Ocean just three blocks away and saw what appeared to be a large object glowing white and looking like a minature moon , moving from our right to our left going in the direction of Allbrook Airforce Base, moving at approx 50 or so miles an hour and then went out of our sight. Afew minutes later a foot patrolman came by and asked if we had seen anything strange staating that the switch board had been going crazy with calls, told him our experience and he went hi way. Nothing was ever hard of it in the paper or Radio or TV. This oblect seemed to be floating on or moving just above the water surface.

I AM WONDERING WHY NO ONE IN AZ IS REPORTING THE FACT THAT THE MASS UFO SIGHTING SEEN 10 YEARS AGO WAS ACTUALLY THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED? I , AND SEVERAL THOUSAND PEOPLE HAVE SEEN THE SAME SHIP YEARS BEFORE. I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE AND I HAVE YET TO HEAR ANYONE COME FORTH WITH THE SAME STORY.. MYSELF AND 6 FAMILY MEMBERS WITNESSED THE LARGE SHIP (SAME ONE THAT MASS PEOPLE IN PHOENIX WITNESSED AND PHOTOGRAPHED) AT 8PM IN 1981 OR 1982. I WAS ONLY IN 6TH GRADE AT THE TIME , BUT THE SIGHT WILL NEVER LEAVE MY MEMORY.. MY TEACHER MR. CAPPUTO WAS ALSO A WITNESS AND WILL ATEST TO THIS.. JUST WONDERING IF ANY OTHER REPORTS HAVE BEEN MADE ABOUT THIS? THE SHIP CAME FROM THE WEST , PALO VERDE, LUKE AIR FORCE AREA, THEN CAME DIRECTLY OVER OUR HOME. IT WAS HUGH MADE NO SOUND , JUST A WARM VIBRATION. IT WAS NOT A BLIMP OR PLANE . IT WAS LITE FROM WITHIN AND HAD WHAT LOOKED LIKE WINDOWS. IT WAS KIND OF V SHAPED , BUT VERY TALL. IT FLEW SO LOW AND WHEN IT REACHED THE END OF THE BLOCK IT SWAYED A FEW TIMES THEN WENT STRAIGHT INTO THE SKY AND IT WAS GONE. I HAVE MORE BUT WOULD LIKE TO TALK TO SOMEONE FIRST.
